This privacy policy describes how the Scrollshot browser extension (“Scrollshot”) handles information when you use it. Scrollshot is published on the Chrome Web Store by Nakel. It runs entirely in your browser and does not sell user data.
Scrollshot captures a full-page screenshot of the web page you choose. Processing happens on your device. We do not receive your screenshots or page content on our servers.
When you start a capture, Scrollshot processes website content from the active tab you invoked the extension on. Scrollshot does not collect your name, email, passwords, browsing history across other tabs, location, health, or payment data through the extension.
Data is processed only after you click Capture full page or use the keyboard shortcut. The activeTab permission limits access to that tab when you start a capture.
We do not use this information for advertising, analytics, or unrelated purposes.
The latest screenshot may be stored in your browser’s local extension storage so the result tab can display it. Data stays on your device until you capture again or remove the extension.
Scrollshot does not sell, rent, or transfer user data to third parties. No capture data is transmitted to Nakel’s servers.
Scrollshot’s use of information from Chrome extension APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. User data is used only for full-page screenshot capture, is not sold, and is not transferred to third parties except as necessary to provide that feature on your device.
Scrollshot is not directed at children under 13.
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change accordingly.
